Adam Rabin is Elected to The Florida Bar Board of Governors

On December 16, 2015, Adam Rabin was elected without opposition to The Florida Bar Board of Governors for a two-year term. Adam will be installed at The Florida Bar Convention in June 2016 and will join 15th Circuit governors Michelle Suskauer, Gary Lesser and Ron Ponzoli on the Board.

During Adam’s term as President of the Palm Beach County Bar Association (PBCBA) in 2012-13, PBCBA launched the South Florida “Got Civility?” Project, where it recruited 43 voluntary bar associations (VBAs) across South Florida to join together in promoting lawyer civility.

In addition, Adam has worked for years to improve lawyer diversity and inclusion in Palm Beach County. From 2009-11, Adam served as the Co-Chair for PBCBA’s Committee for Diversity and Inclusion.

Adam also has worked actively to support the equality and advancement of women lawyers. He currently serves as Co-Director of Programming for the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) and is co-chairing its “Board Certification Boot Camp” program, which mentors and counsels women lawyers who are interested in board certification.

Adam is incredibly grateful for the support he has received from fellow lawyers in and outside of Palm Beach County and pledges to work hard on the Board and well-represent the lawyers in Palm Beach County with the many challenges that lawyers now are facing.
