Firm Settles Four Qui Tam Whistleblower Cases in 2016

Rabin Kammerer Johnson proudly announces that it settled four (4) False Claims Act qui tam whistleblower cases in 2016. These cases included the following:

  • A $39 million settlement arising from the manufacturing and sale of defective fluoride multivitamins to the government. Our whistleblower client received a 21% relator share award.
  • A $1.1 million settlement arising from medically unnecessary testing conducted by a Palm Beach County pain clinic. Our whistleblower client received a 22% relator share award.
  • A $1.7 million settlement arising from allegations of improper telemarketing of Medicare beneficiaries for diabetic supplies and other durable medical equipment. Our whistleblower clients received a 28% relator share award.
  • A $1.3 million settlement arising from a False Claims Act case we filed in 2014. Our whistleblower client received a 28% relator share award.

In total, our qui tam cases recovered over $43 million for the Government in 2016. The firm thanks its whistleblower clients for having the courage to come forward with these cases and for trusting our firm to handle them.
